We have an amazing opportunity for a lead data engineer to join a growing team who are working on critical projects in the data engineering space. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to grow their career, take on responsibility, and mentor junior data engineers, work with the business to understand business issues, you will work in a supportive team environment.

 

This role is a technical lead role in the Data Engineering team, so we need a candidate who is hands on with SAS and other technologies. You will be taking the lead on projects, it is not BA role, but there is still some engagement with the wider organisation.

 

From a technology point of view the key skill we are looking for is a high level of SAS and SQL experience, a financial services or banking background. The right personality fit for a senior in this team comes down to a flexible mindset, an Agile approach, someone who has the willingness to engage with stakeholders, and take the initiative and collaborate on projects. You will have the ability to analyse a problem and come up with the best way forward to solve it.
